A friend sent me this. He’s finishing up a divorce, his wife left him for another man after cheating during their marriage for who knows how long. He was raising his little girl alone for a majority her young life and now suddenly the ex wife wants the child back. Wants to move across the country and just leave him, only staying in contact for support checks.
It’s disgusting to watch her use a child to hurt him, to threaten to move so she can get more money. To toss the girl at him when she wants to go out with her new husband because she can’t be bothered to be a mom while all he wants to do is be a dad.
It will hurt a mother to lose a child…but it hurts a father the same even though we give them nothing. We pretend that womens feelings matter more.

Father’s rights are important. This is the gender inequality that no one seems to want to talk about.
My friend had literal photo evidence that his ex girlfriend was letting his son be starved and hurt and, as far as I know, it didn’t even hold up in court. I don’t know what his status with his son is now but judging from how he almost never talks about it, I doubt it’s good.
This prejudice against fathers and the idea that women are naturally better parents just because they’re women is bullshit, and I don’t even want to know how many healthy relationships it’s destroyed.
